Rajasthan Camel Milk & Dairy Bonus: ₹5/Litre Subsidy Disbursed to Bikaner & Jaisalmer Pastoralists

The Rajasthan Animal Husbandry Department has credited ₹5 per litre incentive payments to thousands of dairy cooperative members across Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Barmer, strengthening rural pastoral livelihoods.

Livestock Support Highlights:

1. 1Free Cattle Vaccination: State-wide drive against Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) and Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) completed.
2. 2Subsidized Fodder Seeds: High-yielding multi-cut hybrid Bajra and Lucerne grass seed kits supplied via veterinary dispensaries.
3. 3Kisan Credit Card (KCC) for Animal Husbandry: Collateral-free loans up to ₹1.6 Lakh approved for milch cow and buffalo purchases.

Pastoralists can register at their local Gram Panchayat Dairy Cooperative Society (DCS).
